Owners of public groups can enable join requests via Group Info > Edit > Group Type > Who Can Send Messages > select Only Members > enable Approve New Members. In this menu, you will see a number of themes and colour options to choose from. Further, you can also change the curve on message boxes and font size. To enable or disable this service, go to “Settings”, “Notification and Sounds”, and swipe down to the “Other” section. You will also find a “Repeat Notifications” option, which you can select as per your convenience. Go to Settings > Chat Settings to create your own theme.

Telegram is a great all-around messenger, especially when you start using its best features and know everything it's capable of. Admins can reach out to users who want to join and have a chat to cover the rules, make sure they're a good fit or even plan a welcome party. When an admin reaches out, Telegram lets the user know they're reaching out as a group admin.
